Ed is a third generation Realtor who grew up in the real estate industry.  His grandfather, John Deisher, started his real estate business in Philadelphia in 1913.  “John and Margaret lived above the office and routinely opened after hours when clients needed them.”  Ed’s father, E. Franklin Deisher, expanded the company with multiple locations in Philadelphia for over five decades. Both were instrumental figures in real estate on a regional and state level.  They were also engaged in many civic organizations.

 

Ed developed a passion for real estate early in life.    He started answering phones in the office at age 10.  “My dad would listen in and give me friendly critiques to help me improve their experience.  I was so nervous but eventually caught on.”

 

Ed started his real estate career working for his dad in property management.  He learned quickly how to balance the interests of owners, tenants, contractors, inspectors, city officials to a final result.  A few years later he began working for the largest regional homebuilding company in the area.  Ed has helped navigate the real estate interests of the Iacobucci family into three generations and many challenging economic climates.  It wasn’t long before he became a top new home sales professional, receiving many awards.  Eventually he became VP Of Sales & Marketing.  He built and managed a renowned team of agents that were responsible, not just for sales, but managing the customer experience.  A colleague mentioned “Ed has built and maintained many relationships over the years with industry professionals that range from structural and land development engineers to interior designers. Ed has extensive experience in New Construction Sales and Marketing, Land Development, Product Development, Seller Representation, Buyer Representation, Home Building and Property Management.  He has been involved in thousands of transactions in the Tri-State area.

Ed is an active member of the Tri-County Realtor Association, PAR, NAR, the Homebuilder’s Association of Chester and Delaware Counties and the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia.

 

In his spare time, Ed loves spending time with his wife Joan, children, Scott (Nicole) and Lindsay (Kris), in-laws and grandchildren, all of whom have settled locally.  Ed also enjoys golf (erratically), boating (the phone doesn’t work on the water) and working on classic cars (sorry honey!).
